Joseph & Joseph is working with Chicago-based, Aparium Hotel Group, which acquired the almost 1-acre Joe Ley Antiques property in the NuLu district of Louisville. The project will feature a 191-room, seven story hotel with an over 91,000-square-foot addition behind the existing Joe Ley Antique structure. The contemporary hotel building has been designed to sit behind the Joe Ley building and ensure the prominence of the Joe Ley Antiques structure. “NuLu is a burgeoning destination for arts, makers, distinct retail and community gatherings that we are thrilled to be a part of,” Mario Tricoci, founder and CEO of Aparium Hotel Group, said in a statement. “We look forward to redeveloping the Joe Ley site into a hotel and food and beverage experience that captures the essence of Louisville. It will be a one-of-one and hyper local experience that aims to captivate both visitors and locals alike.”
