On May 2, 2016, Luxco’s Chairman & CEO Donn Lux and President & COO David Bratcher were joined by the Governor of Kentucky, Matt Bevin, as well as the Mayor of Bardstown, the Nelson County Judge and other state and city dignitaries to officially break ground on Lux Row Distillers. The site chosen in Bardstown is truly special: Along with several barns, the 70-acre property includes an 18th-century National Historic Place stone house that remains part of the distillery as well a long tree-lined driveway that will provide a scenic approach. The 18,000-square-foot distillery includes six barrel warehouses, a visitor center, tasting room and event space.
